LUSH LIST // EARTHY TONES

I've been quite good on the make-up front lately.

I didn't go crazy over the Christmas sales and I've been trying to remember what I have in my collection before purchasing new products and to be honest I thought I was doing well - until I made a ridiculously long wish list of items that I want to buy, most of which are international.

The likelihood is I will probably buy 5 or 6 items from this list of 30+ items but this doesn't stop me lusting after them.

Unintentionally there is a slight theme running through my wish list - it seems I'm being drawn to earthy tones such as taupes, mauves and browns. I don't know why I'm navigating towards these colours but I'm not complaining!

SUVA Beauty Neutral Necessity Palette | $49.95 - You know I'm a sucker for matte eye shadows but have you seen how these shadows swatch? If you haven't you're in for a treat! Click HERE and check out their swatches. I need to get my hands on their shadows quickly.

PUR Minerals Cameo Contour Stick in Dark | $39.50 - I'm becoming a sucker for cream contour especially contour sticks that cater to PoC (people of colour), shockingly Dark is not the darkest shade with Deep containing a rich contour shade as well as what looks to be a great highlighting shade.

Coloured Raine Matte Lip Paint in Tootsie | $17.00 - I AM LOVING dark vampy lips. I don't know what it is - I JUST AM! I love Colourpop's LAX but it can be quite patchy but Tootsie looks perfect! I have a few matte lip paints from Coloured Raine already and I love how opaque they are so I know I'll love Tootsie.

Dose Of Colors Matte Lipstick in Cork | $18.00 - This shade reminds me of Makeup Monsters Just Add Marshmallow but a little bit darker which means it would work well as a beautiful nude on darker skin tones. At present this new range of shades from DoC is not available in the UK but hopefully they'll be stocked on Beauty Bay soon!

Black Radiance Artisan Color Baked Blush in Toasted Almond | $4.99 - I've seen this blush floating around on YouTube and I've fallen in love with it! The perfect warm, golden shade of blush that flatters deeper skin tones so so well and best of all it's unbelievably affordable!

Bobbi Brown Retouching Face Pencil in Deep 10 | $32.00 - After reading this post by the gorgeous Sabrina I was sold on the new Bobbi Brown Retouching Face Pencil. Believe it or not, I am always striving for the natural look when it comes to make-up, trying my hardest to use as little product as possible. I think this would be fantastic for great skin days and the shade seems great as well. Unfortunately this isn't available in the UK just yet but you can always pick up the Nudestix concealer pencil which is an alternative for now.

Sephora Collection Bright Future Gel Serum in Pecan Pie/Dulce De Leche | $14.00 - I'm always on the hunt for the perfect highlighting and correcting concealer and the new Sephora concealers seem like they could be in the running. In an array of shades perfect for highlighting, correcting and contouring I definitely cannot wait to get my hands on a one or two of these!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in Fudge and Sepia | $16.00 each - I've been trying to ignore these lip glosses as I'm not much of a lip gloss fan but after seeing some gorgeous brown skinned beauties wearing Fudge and Sepia I've been droooooling over these two lip glosses. I'm just trying to convince myself to bite the bullet and buy! Eek!

NYX Butter Gloss in Gingersnap | £5.00 - A gorgeous and unique pigmented lip gloss, a cool toned chocolate brown that works well as an alternative nude for deeper skin tones and best of all it's available in the UK!

MAC Cosmetics Powder Blush in Sunbasque | £18.50 - Blame YouTube for this one! I've never heard of Sunbasque before, not one word, but after seeing a YouTuber use this I knew I had to have it. Sunbasque gives you a gorgeous glow and subtle warmth all in one.
Perfect for nights out or as a summer blush.
The price of MAC blushers hurt me but I may just have to bite the bullet for this one and add Sunbasque to my collection!

  2. I have the same Colour Raine lippie on my wishlist. So pretty. I have 2 of the Sephora concealer and they are really good. I just hate the applicator.

    1. I think that's what it is, something about a mauve or reddish brown on deeper skin tones that makes me fall in love! Haha! Buying make-up always seems like a good idea to me, then I check my bank balance! x
